I have never had a doctor spend more time than Dr. Heck does! He really listens and has resolutions.
Update: I just left his office for a super gross & embarrassing pimple. Dr. Heck and his nurse made me feel so much better. Great bedside. Super smart. Welcoming office staff. What a relief. I'm so glad he's my doctor.

I became a patient with Dr. Heck when I was pregnant when my daughter (9 years ago) I continued to keep him as my doctor, even when I lived out of town. It's hard to find a physician who is passionate and cares about his patients and not just their money. He's one of the ones I trust. The only reason I haven't been back in a few months, is because I was embarrassed of my mental health. But now that I'm not anymore, I'm scheduling an appointment tomorrow. I highly recommend him!!

Times have changed as doctors are more and more working with a laptop computer in their hands. Dr Heck has taken very good care of me for around 20 years. When I was young, I had pain that several doctors could not figure out. In pursuit of finding what was causing my disabling pain my mother found Dr Samuel Heck. Within an hour and an X-ray, Dr Heck could see that my pelvis had been crushed in a car accident 5 years prior and had healed wrong causing me to have a curvature in my spine that we corrected with a heal insert to lengthen the leg. Over the coarse of about a year, he would manipulate my joints and increase the wedge in my shoe. We stopped at an inch of heal lift and my pain was minimized for several years while I continued to be able to compete in sports at the varsity level, Football, Basketball, Wrestling, and Track.
He spends more time on his computer during office visits, but that is just the way things have changed. Dr Heck takes great care of me. If I send him a message through their messaging system I get a prompt reply. I think very highly of my doctor and hope to have many more years with him. Doctor Heck isn't just a great doctor, but he is also a very wise and kind man, he is a blessing to anyone who has the pleasure of working with him!

I have been impressed with Dr. Heck. He listens to me and seems to find the best answer to my medical needs. He also helps to inform me on my condition by giving me printed information that is helpful. The only issues that I have had with this clinic has been with contacting or dealing with the receptionists and office staff. While they are generally friendly, they are either understaffed or not always efficient in dealing with my needs.

Dr. Heck is a thinker and problem solver when it comes to interpreting symptoms and tests and prescribing medication or referring to a specialist. He is also kind and listens. He is simply the best doctor I have ever had.

I went to Dr. Heck, no problems. I just called to get my son an appointment and I can NOT believe the lack of customer service I received because my son has Sunflower State Health insurance through his dad. I guess that makes him less important, because he doesn't use BCBS like I do. Totally ridiculous. Those ladies that answer the phone should be fired in my opinion. I won't be back to ViaChristi if they're going to discriminate against my child.

Dr Heck is amazing!!!! Been my dr since I was a kid and recently moved back closer to him and he’s still the same amazing guy!
