There is no better date night or night out with your friends than Bar Academy. I have been here multiple times over the past 3 years and it just gets better and better every time! Whether you’re there for a tasting, or you are behind the bar mixing your own drinks, it is always so much fun. Rob is so personable and makes sure you have an amazing time no matter what. Highly recommend!!

Rob was awesome at explaining the different wine and cheese combos and proper way to do a tasting. He is humble and a great guide making sure you have a good time.

I came here with a group for an event. You couldn't really tell from the street that this was a bar academy. When we walked up the stairs the place was uniquely decorated. The owner came out and introduced himself and was nice and to the point. He explained that we were going to have stations and what we would be making at each. The experience of actually bartending was very fun. I enjoyed my time and the drinks that were made were good. We got a group rate of $35 per person when its usually $70.

When my wife tells me we are going to Bar Academy, I count down the days in anticipation. My wife and I first went to Bar Academy 5+ years ago. Rob, the owner, was an amazing host, instructor, etc. The first class we did was a wine and chocolate. It was amazing. Since then, we have continued to go back for more wine and chocolate, wine and cheese, wine and pasta, Sangria making class (and more than enough drinking), and then back again for repeats. Recently, we went for the craft beer tasting. Every event is just a great evening, and Rob is the best proprietor. Every friend we have ever brought has also loved Bar Academy and Rob. Bar Academy’s new location is bigger and more seating options. I notice that Rob fills my wife’s glass up with more alcohol than he puts in my glass, he is a great wing man!! Thanks Rob for all the fun times and looking forward to many more years.

If you have come across Bar Academy and are wondering whether or not to go for an event- I recommend 100%. I have been to about 10 different tastings/classes and each time is so exciting and fun! The owner, Rob, is so sweet and funny! He will have a conversation with you like you’ve been good friends for years (even if you just met him that night!) I have brought my boyfriend, best friends and co-workers and everyone has such a great time and asks the next time we’re going back! The tastings and classes are paced to your liking, if that’s what you’re wondering….Some days I have left needing a designated driver and others with a slight buzz. Lol. The music and atmosphere is great!! 1000 stars! My favorite place to go for date nights, birthdays, celebrations or just a night to get out of the house! My all time favorite class is the sangria making challenge! Went to that class 3x already! Lol.

I bought the groupon for the craft beer tasting at Bar Academy 101 for my dad for Christmas this year, and we had a delightful time. The owner, Robert, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about beer. He had pre-selected beers for us to try during this season, and even accommodated a specific taste I had shared with him! It’s a cozy and chill environment, and a great way to try new drinks. I am not a beer person, but leaving this experience I have a newfound appreciation and have even found some beers I like! Thank you, Bar Academy 101!

I could go on and on ranting and raving about Bar Academy and the experiences I've had there!
My friends and I have gone for wine & chocolate tasting, wine and cheese tasting, wine & pasta tasting, tequila tasting and have already planned for sangria and margarita making. Each time we go we plan our next trip back.
The experience is fabulous-- Rob runs a fantastic business and is extremely knowledgeable about all the products he uses for his classes and why he pairs/chose them. He always makes it fun and super enjoyable.
Will continue to go back again and again:)
