Review (from 7 years ago) mentioned it was “free.”
It’s not ($20 to recycle a broken flat screen tv), but that’s okay. Still cheaper than other recycle places and the man who took the tv was very nice. Would recommend and use again. Thanks!

I've worked with American E-waste Recyclers 4 times over the past couple of years. I appreciate their service of electronic waste management for our area. They rework items that are salvageable, and dispose of items that are not, in a responsible manner. This business also breaks down electrical appliances/gadgets to basic elements that can then be recycled. Their website explains things well and is easily understood. Every time I drop things off, the manager and employees have been great to work with. During winter hours, E-waste Recyclers may not be open on their regular schedule, so call ahead to be sure it's available to accept drop-offs.

It's a bit hard to find the entrance as it is in the alley, but they will take basically anything that can be plugged in or powered on for free. The only thing they charge for is certain monitors, but they take much larger e-waste than Best Buy or other recyclers I've seen.

I have used this recycle business for several years for my personal recycling. Now I work for a school district and we continue to use American E-waste as our primary recycle source for old technology, misc electronics, TV, etc. They are both courteous and prompt. And with budgets always tight, free is the best price you can get.
