From absolutely zero knowledge of anything that goes on behind a bar and knowing only what i drink personally… to practicing making drinks from day one! And now knowing drinks off the back of my hand, speed testing at 26 drinks in 8 minutes and a 97 on the final exam! Brand knowledge, liquor knowledge, bar etiquette, safe serving. I am going straight to building a resume and setting up interviews! Steve was great and definitely made me work and surprise myself. Mrs. Sylvia is a super funny sweet heart and it seems she will do everything in her power to help you succeed…

I completed the course and now… I’m building my resume and taking my safe serve certification test to make myself even more marketable. I will be back when I land my first bartending gig ?

I am so happy with my time at APBS. I went from having close to no knowledge on liquors and drinks, to being able to answer the most challenging questions and make recommendations to my customers. The program is so comprehensive, and the hands on learning was so helpful to my progress. I now have confidence when speaking to customers and management, because of how well prepared this program made me. The instructors and staff were fantastic, and continue to be available and just as awesome as they were when I was enrolled. Learning about safe alcohol procedures, proper resume setup, and how to navigate an interview were also very useful. Training in a trade like bartending is invaluable to navigating a world where college isn’t for everyone, and I could not be happier with my education at APBS.

I am from PA and decided to attend the Atlanta Professional Bartending School for the 2 week morning class while visiting. The instructor Steve, was very patient and informative. I’ve learned over 100 drink recipes during my time here and am eager to get home and get to work. Steve made our class fun which helped make our time go by quickly. I loved that we had lectures but spent majority of our time doing hands on training. 10/10 would definitely recommend for others to take this class!

I don’t leave reviews often and I’ve attended a lot of trade classes. This school by far ARE what they say they are. Very thorough. You will learn as long as you show up. Plenty of practice and knowledge. The instructors are very patient, knowledgeable and filled with lots of enthusiasm. They also place you and work with you after you finish. I would recommend this school 10 times over! I should of done this a long time ago.

All I can say is Wow. I came to PBS jumping into a field I always had a passion for I say every Saturday for a month or so and learned so much about Alcohol I had no clue about. All I can say is if you want to be a professional bartender here is the place to be every penny well spent. The job placement that’s promised is amazing held by Sylvia. Sylvia makes sure you have options to choose from when giving you contacts to reach out to and will even follow up with the companies you applied to on your behalf. Since I graduated PBS I have had the best bartending jobs and working directly behind the bar. With the Mixology Certification let’s say you’re VIP you don’t have to start as a host, waitress,waiter etc and work your way up to the Bar. I highly recommend PBSA to everyone. Had such a great time learning from my instructor Steve. He really focused on making sure we understood the difference between the liquors, the liqueurs and what makes a drink. Steve gave great energy and made the course more than just a course, it was a full experience. I would highly recommend the course to anyone interested in making bartending a career choice.

This place is amazing and worth every single penny! Graduated June 3rd and by the end of June, I had a job. Sylvia the placement director is amazing and the nicest person you’ll ever meet. I highly highly recommend beginning your bartending career here. You will make back the money you spent in no time if you apply yourself and take bartending seriously. They helped me finally leave my previous career as a dog groomer and I’m so grateful. I’m also heavily pierced and Sylvia was still able to help find me an accepting place to work. I couldn’t have asked for a better school to attend!!
