Best decision of my life to homeschool my children. My son has seen an improvement in his grades and he doesn’t spend 8 hours in school. The teachers work well with the students and are usually available via text message or phone call. Everything is online, the students only attend a few classes a day maybe 1-3 hours and the rest of the day they have to do homework and other activities. My youngest started kinder and I was skeptical but overall it was a wonderful experience and will continue to have my children attend this school.

I was happy at first, most teachers are nice and are willing to help. My child has medical issues and and IEP. When I would request an IEP meeting the teachers and other staff members would speak down to me and criticize my parenting style. The request they would ask I do, I would let them know I done that. Then they would state it sounds like I'm making excuses. No I'm not, i was already 10 steps ahead and done everything they recommend. They don't have much acvomidations for IEP students. I'm considering unschooling homeschooling for my child. School is just programming a kid.

They took something that previously worked well and switched it out for a new platform that is unwieldy and not user-friendly. It's been difficult to find lessons and track academic progress. It's difficult to get useful help from tech support. Despite having qualified teachers that care, I can't recommend this school at all. It's a mess

California Connections Academy is an excellent school! All my children have loved the online platform and have received a very high level of education. Everyone just needs to remember that it is a remote learning platform, which means that your child/children need to be self motivated. It is very important that they follow the recommended pacing guides and stay caught up on their schoolwork. That means that they need to be working on their schoolwork for the same amount of time that other students are in school. Just because they offer a flexible schedule does not mean that it is less work than an in-person school! Students who struggle academically or who need a lot of adult reminders to complete classwork would probably do better in an in-person school. Students who enjoy learning, get their work done in a timely manner, and appreciate the flexible schedule will thrive at Connections Academy. They even offer honors and AP classes, field trips (parents drive), school picnics, dances, prom, grad night, and lovely graduation ceremonies. Each child's homeroom teacher calls at a specific time every single week and really tries to get to know their students. The entire staff seems to be kind, caring, and highly-motivated to give students an outstanding education. We love Connections Academy!

I recently enrolled both my daughter's in connections academy springs I have tried to get my daughter's setup for several weeks now and still cannot get in touch with someone to help me they keep referring me to different people and to no avail forget about accomodations with there IEP this online schooling needs to get it together officially have up seeking other alternatives,

I am very pleased with this school . My daughter was able to get back on track after transferring from K -12 online program which was absolute garbage. On the other hand, this school offers all types of support. I’m highly impressed with how well organized their program is and overall communication with me as a parent always keeping me informed on my child’s progress and what she might need to catch up on. 1000% recommend it.

Not really happy w this decision I made putting my toddler in here. It's soooooo much homework for a kindergartner it's crazy. 8 lessons a day. I chose this school because they preach being flexible etc w/ ur schedule. Broo, where? You miss one class or don't complete the assignments right away and you automatically get a letter saying you're going to get kicked out. Hannah has attitude the principle LOL. Hits me with my toddler needs to complete assignments asap or she's getting kicked out. If I have my child sit there everyday and do the whole assignments one, it's too much for her she can't sit still that long. And two; it's hours worth of work. I chose this program because it's supposed to be flexible. Definitely far from flexible. Not flexible at all. If you can commit to many hours a day on top of class sessions that are mandatory then hey this is the school for you. But if you have a busy schedule or can not sit for at least 5 hours a day with them non stop then do not choose this. I run multiple businesses and this is just totally not what I expected! So do not seek this program if you need flexibility... as I was told it would be very flexible! Ahaha they lied! - a Southern California mother

I have 2 sons enroll in this school and this year its gonna be 5 years for them. Since pandemic I recomend my cousin to enroll her sons and she did. They more focus, enjoy and have a positive impact especially their grades. Thank you for Teachers and staffs for their hard work and cares to students.
