Long Beach Bartending School gives you the tools to start making as much money as you want in a very short period of time. I made back the money I paid upfront the first gig I worked, which was while I was still going through the program.

All the instructors and Elvis are so supportive and really want you to succeed. This program does require you to focus and work hard, but it’s so worth it. Having worked various gigs from private events, festivals, nightclubs to dive bars, within the short period of time since graduation, I feel the program really drilled the recipes into our brains, made us practice speed and taught us how to be proper bartenders. I’ve come across so many bartenders with a lot more experience where I am so much more knowledgable in the recipes and practices.

On top of that, the jobs and gigs that Elvis continues to hook us up with after graduation is gold. If you focus and work hard, there are really endless opportunities to make as much money as you want in this field.

Real people, real bartenders, amazing community! I've been a member since 2015 and let me start off by saying I had no idea how connected this school is. The place is as-you-go, so no worrying about class times or long hours. Come in on your own schedule. There are instructors on hand to give you lessons and tips. Elvis, the owner, is the MAN, he'll always have your back if you want the work and you represent! He's led me to big opportunities at awesome events such as Beyond Wonderland, LB Pride, and Beer Festivals, etc. (he's where the connections start). All of which, I've made some BANG $$$!

To this day, as the manager of a restaurant, I'm still connected to the school and Elvis.
It's not just a school, it's a community where everyone has the same goal in mind: making that MONEY! This is what you have been looking for.

All I can say is wow. I went in expecting a basic bartending course, but discovered the value in becoming a student. It's not just a class. They provide you with the most training in the area to truly prepare you for success.

I came from corporate marketing in the eastern part of the US, and Elvis managed to turn me into a rockstar bartender in just a month. Not to mention - they offer JOB PLACEMENT. I got multiple offers in the week after graduating and accepted more than one!

I can't express how much I loved my experience here and how much I will utilize my lifetime membership here and around the country at their other locations - yes - you can MOVE and they still help you in your area.

When signing up I was exited to start on this new adventure of bartending. When attending the classes it’s first come first serve on who gets to practice on the bar so unless you come at opening time expect to wait at least an hour before actually being able to practice. Another thing that happened was one of the instructors drinking while teaching. Showing the level of professionalism this place really has. I called the manager wanting a refund for my money but was denied a full refund due to the unfair contract made by the school which makes it impossible for anyone to actually receive a full refund. Fortunately I was able to get half of my money back but was given disrespectful mannerism when requesting more. as well when signing up I notice they give students different sign up prices. Overall this place isn’t bad tho. If you put in the time and effort some of the instructors will work with you. I say if you are looking for a long term career in bartending than this would be a good start to have. Although my experience here was not a good one I am not slandering this business rather giving Some constructive criticism I hope this place takes in consideration to get organized with themselves and to make sure to hire instructors that will take their job seriously.
