Tienes más de un profesor pero no hay problema porque los profesores saben bien hasta dónde se quedó el tema enseñado. Las clases están organizadas de forma tal que no te aburres y realmente avanzas. Estoy feliz de haber elegido esta escuela.

I should have made my research better before enrolling into this language school. The program I signed up for wasn‘t so good, we had too much homework and the lessons felt rushed. Its like they tried packing 10-12 months worth of learning material into 3 months. We didn‘t go too deep into the topics, instead moved on to the next topic less than 1 hour later. Our teachers were also ultra strict, if one person came late, everyone would get shouted at which was harsh and unfair. That took away my motivation to continue to study beyond 3 months. A few people dropped out of class due to that. The school trips were sadly also hella rushed, I was standing in line for souvenirs but was told that everyone was waiting in the bus already. It was only 15 minutes since we had gone out of the bus. No time to look around the area properly. It was pure stress.
The worst was when I had an asthma attack and was forced to come to school anyways, as if they didn‘t care I could die at any moment (which I almost did, luckily I found a good hospital and was treated before it was too late). The teachers won‘t care unless you have influenza or Corona. Despite giving them signed absences by the doctors, they marked it in my diploma as “unexcused“.
Think twice before chosing your japanese language school.

I have taken multiple, at least 5 courses with their online school. I LOVE this school. The teachers are professional, prepared, and thoughtful. If you are taking the JLPT their courses are awesome. I passed my N3!!! (But be fair and don't expect that you will pass just be taking this course alone. You HAVE to study a lot). For growing you conversational skills (and reading), take a speaking course. I love how I can just show up to class and not feel like I have to have it all together. I am a wife and working mom–not a college student–and I wake up at 5am cst for my particular class. It's soooooooooo worth it if you want to improve your Japanese.

I attended the 1-month, short term course in January and enjoyed my time at Shinjuku Japanese Language Institute.

Based on my limited time, SNG was quite fine actually. The lessons weren’t overly intense, but do keep in mind it is challenging. You need to consistently focus on the class material and homework, which is good if you want to learn Japanese a bit more quickly. But if you want to casually learn the language, while primarily focusing on traveling Tokyo, then you may fall a bit behind.

I like that they also have an app, VLJ, that allows you to review Japanese material and stay up to date. That’s what actually stood out to me, since it showed me that the school not only focused on teaching Japanese efficiently, but also adjusting to the time we actually live in. And that's nice.

I spent 3 months here and had fun I talked to a lot of students even now so I will leave my own review I think the school is at a 4,6 stars honestly so they are doing really good.

Pros:
- The staff is honest and very nice they did not force you to wait and either told you to come the next day or to give them a few minuts for other students but they asked all students for what their issue is and then depening told them what to do (they did it as normal 1st come 1st serve but in the mean time another staff member asked all other studends who where not helped for their issues and see if it might be better for them to come next time). But you had a choice and if you waited (which I did) they came and applogised for the wait I did not wait long in the end and all issues where resolved (15min or 20 nothing much).

- The school has its own course they have and a special text books and teacheing method if you love alternative stuff and a really good way of studying in a non traditional way too much its really nice if you want to study mina no nihongo go else where other schools offer that. They also have apps and stuff you do your things on its more moderen also teaching is more focused on speaking.

- They take you / you have an option to go on nice field trips if you do not go you just write a homework about that place (maybe they changed it) but it's quite nice. And the trips will cost about 50% less if you go with school then if you went alone.

- Most teachers I meet (2) cared a lot they had their unique teaching styles but if you gave them a chance they really where nice. I talked to a friend who met more and said the others are defenitly also nice just more normal or traditional japnese with still unique styles.

- The princle of the school is a legend he will talk to students and bow etc if he can notice you he is bussy but we had him on our tour bus and he was really good he told me off good places to buy food on the trip and what things are nice to buy. Most of the higher ups are nice.

- Building 1 is nice it's close hope your in building 1 if you do not like walking hahaha.

- The school will offer a lot of options to meet students from other Japanese school we had a lot of options to go to bukatsu and students out of waseda university its mostly for people of lower lvl so until N2 then N2 and N1 do not have this option as their japanese is higher but there still might be some stuff I have no friends in those classes but N5-N3 level your fine. Limited ammount of space (30-40 students ) so just apply fast

CONS:

- Building 3 and 2 are a bit far /like some say might not have wifi on them but you really do not need them I think personaly this is the only con.

- There might be a bad teacher but I had 0 nor did my friends ( so not a con but could be if you do not like their style of teaching more personal I think then acctual fact)

- If you do not like bowing and saying Konnichiwa and Sayonara sensei you might not like that but I personaly liked it and just felt like I was in Japan felt normal.

- ADVANCED class might be a con I went to NORMAL speed so I was fine. But I talked to students and quite a few in ADVANCED and seems like if your not willing to spend 3-4 h hours after class studying do not go. There is little reviewing so basicly only 10 min. Also more Kanji a lot more tests and its hard to keep up. It's good if your good at kanji (or chinese / korean) or are good at languages or Japanese but still will be fast the school warns you and did tell me that I will need 3-4h hours after school studying to keep up. Personaliy I liked NORMAL speed as you can do most of your stuff in about 20-30 min max 1h and then its up to you if you want to review. I just went outside and talked irl and practiced that way. There might be a con most Europens where on the edge of being to hard. But could be good if you want to go fast and just learn Japanese whitout going out much around tokyo.

That is it I belive.

學校的事務局的老師比較友好，上課的老師就各有參差了。有位叫山口的老師，上課非常乏味枯燥，對待學生的態度也不友好。即使所有人每天都來上課，還是每天都說大家出勤率會影響簽證的問題。而且學生簽證在SNG不可以參與午前課程，只能參與午後課程，不能按照自己的情況安排課程的時間，這一點讓人很不舒服。
學校的設施也非常差，3號館非常老舊，如果你被分配到地下1層的教室，手機沒有信號，WiFi網速也很差。1號館和3號館在教室裏都沒有充電的地方。教室也很小。特別每個班的人都很多，顯得教室更小了。
即使你的水平適合更高級別，分班的老師會優先安排你去初級班，讓人不能理解。

Attended from October 2020 to December 2022. did both intensive and normal classes

The Pros:
-Accommodating and attentive staff who work with you in finding solutions to any problem you might encounter during your stay.
-Excellent location (except building 2 which is lost in a residential area)
-Friendly teachers who try to make sure that you participate during class and understand the lesson.
-Good after school activities you can partake in
The Cons:
-Varying level of proficiency when teaching, some teachers are really nice people, but bad teachers.
-After graduation care cruelly lacking, with false information given (ex: telling students they have two weeks to leave the country while immigration says 3 months).
-Inadequate facilities even during covid, with a sensation of cramped classrooms, weak and sometimes non existent WIFI.

To conclude, a good school which help not only understand but >speak< the language, with regular practice and entertaining teachers. I would recommend you do your own research when it comes to post graduation orientation then ask for school help however.

It's a good school. Teachers and staff are friendly and professional. (btw Fukui Sensei is awesome!) Kinda on the more expensive side and they assign lots of homework and move at a fast pace but if you do the work you'll learn a lot.

On the bad side, facilities are weak and it feels a bit of a money grab since they keep adding students and don't limit class sizes. My class started out at 14 and within 2 to 3 weeks was up to 22.
