This school is amazing i love it the teachers are great and the food. Even i go to a different school i went to this school and it was amazing and it is still amazing. I still love this school its a great school i want to go to this school again. If you have chance to go to this school don't waste it because it's a great school and other people want to be in that school so don't waste this school's time.

My son went there when the school was brand new. When the ribbon was cut, he walked right on into a new school. I LOVED the staff including the coaches. He's now in high school but my nephew is still there and graduating in a few weeks.

What I don't like about Tarkington now is, there is a new administration and this principal has gotten rid of majority of the previous staff including all African Americans and Hispanics. Well, there's no need to tell you who's there now.

I really wish CPS would investigate this school and see what we as parents see. It's a shame the previous staff that knew the students are no longer there and the new staff have no interest in getting to know these students and there families. The principal sucks! Glad I'm not dealing with the school after graduation.

the principal doesn’t like people standing up to her and she isn’t good at doing her job and punished people who stand up to her and she is unfair and got rid of many great teachers

Really bad school with really bad teachers the food is bad and the students are very uneducated . Do not go to this school.
