Just graduated and Jim the instructor was fantastic. He was funny, informative, and always took the time to answer our questions thoroughly. The classes were both entertaining and educational.

Knowing Jim is a resource even after graduating is incredibly reassuring. I’m grateful for all his advice and encouragement. I learned so much and highly recommend this school and Jim as an instructor!

Where do I start? I just finished my two week course at Texas School of Bartenders-Austin. Prior to starting, I had very minimal knowledge of alcohol and absolutely no pouring technique. After two fun weeks, I now feel confident enough to apply for jobs. I graduated Thursday and worked a gig on Saturday. Jim is absolutely the best. He is very down to Earth and extremely patient. He would always tell us that there are no dumb questions and he meant it. Jim was such a great instructor and took the time with each student to ensure we were not only learning, but retaining the information provided. He is extremely knowledgeable and loved to throw out facts about the spirits we were working with. I highly recommend Jim and his school for those interested in learning this trade.

I had no knowledge about bartending none once so ever. Came in to watch thought it would be super hard just from the sight thought I wouldn't be able to make it or get the hang of it. First week came and let me tell yall that it was alot of fun hands on and gave me full confidence to keep learning. The teacher Jim is a great amazing teacher funny makes it fun and helped me understand it to. It's a great environment making new friends and drinks along the way I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE WANTING TO HAVE FUN AND LEARNTO MAKE FUN EASY DRINKS!

When I walked through the doors of TSB I had ZERO knowledge of alcohol, spirits, and wines. And no idea of pour counts! The instructor James was beyond knowledgeable and answered any questions the class had! I would definitely recommend this class!!

TSB is a great starting place for folks who are new to bartending! Jim is a great instructor, super knowledgeable, and willing to meet you where you’re at. He sends out weekly updates of every place in Austin currently hiring bartenders. There are payment plan options available if you’re unable to pay the tuition all at once, which is a lifesaver. I’ve already recommended the course to some friends who are interested in bartending training. Definitely deserves 5 stars.
