Great instructor and owner, after being here and completen the self paced program, I feel a lot more confident in my skills as a bartender and pursuing a career in mixology/bartending. Although at first I was a little hesitant to sign up because I wasn’t 100% sure I wanted to invest into this program, but looking back at it now, I am glad I decided to do this and only regret not doing it sooner!

You learn how to properly and accurately free pour, the importance of using fresh ingredients, the differences in all the different types of liquors and liqueurs and the process behind making them.

George is a AAA instructor, he is very detail oriented and extremely helpful, he takes the time to ensure you understand the lessons and has no problem spending time 1 on 1 with you to help you out.

Classes are twice a day, afternoon and evening, you aren’t limited to only taking one a day, you can take both classes a day to help speed track yourself to being certified sooner which is amazing! Classes are also available in Spanish too for those of us who don’t understand English too much.

This is probably THE BEST bartending school you can go to!

Awesome experience! A++ Instructor! After completing this program, I feel confident in pursuing a career as a successful certified bartender. I would recommend this program to anyone interested in learning some new skills. It was a great value at $700 for a one year tuition. The Instructor was informative and created a fun overall experience.

Such an amazing school! The atmosphere is really chill, and Valerie and Richard are very helpful teachers. But the best part is that you're guaranteed work post-graduation. The dedication to putting out talented, working bartenders makes this school a must for anyone interested in bartending or serving. Definitely would recommend!

There were so many schools to choose from to pursue Bartending and I'm so happy that I chose this school. They expanded my knowledge with customer service as well as making GREAT drinks and understanding the bar business. Not only did they educate me on being great at my craft, they also helped with job placement, which is super hard to accomplish out here. The staff are friendly and very hands on they really want to see you succeed and I made some cool friends too. I'm glad I made this decision because now I'm making $$$$ lol .. Great school 5 stars

I have been studying and practicing to become a bartender for about 4 months now . The instructors here are very patient, very helpful, and kind. They truly care about the students success in the bartending scene. They will make sure you know every piece of material needed for the test and to make good money in the industry. They help you practice for your speed test and give you pointers on having smoother transitions so you are able to flow through making drinks easily and are not pressured. They give you the time you need and always make class a fun safe environment to be . I couldn’t of been more happy to have found and joined such a unique school that provides you with the tools needed for success as well as experience .! Thank you to the instructors and the founders of this great school. You all are one of a kind and it was definitely worth every coin

Bartending was always something I wanted to try out. I heard about The University of Mixology Bartending School and decided to get my training here. Paul was my first contact, very welcoming guy. I decided to hop on board and got the best hands on training! After about 2 weeks, I was ready to work. That just goes to show how great Richard and Valerie are at educating people on how to make perfect cocktails, the right way. My first job was for a huge graduation party and my classes pretty much paid for themselves on the one event. I highly recommend this class if you're interested in becoming one of the best bartenders in the greater Los Angeles area.

School and staff are amazing. Valerie does a great job teaching and takes her time with her students to ensure they get the most out of each lesson. Danny also does an awesome job teaching the flare class and takes him time with each student to make sure they know every movement. Everything you need to know about bartending is taught here at this school and is highly recommended.

Excellent bartending training. The school definitely prepared me for my new job at the bar I work at now. Paul and the rest of the instructors are very skilled and thorough in their training and the best part is you get paid to work during the training, so it literally pays for itself.
